The top five gambling destinations in the world for tourists

If you’re a fan of live casinos then there are places in the world that you have to visit. Here we are your top destinations to enjoy gambling across the globe.

So, you are a lover of the odd online casino and you also like to travel around the world.  Maybe it is time to match up your passions and spend some time in destinations famed for the gambling on offer. Here we take you to five gambling destinations that offer a world of joy for tourists.

Nevada
Ok, ok, so this is an obvious place to start. However, we would be remiss if we didn’t put the gambling capital of the world, containing the magnificence of Las Vegas, as number one in our list. There are more than seventy casinos to explore along The Strip. While there is every sort of live gambling you can imagine, there are also other events and experiences to delight the tourist. Major stars enjoy residences in the casino ballrooms and there are some lavish food experiences to enjoy too.

If Las Vegas is too obvious, don’t discount Nevada. There is alway Reno. It is nowhere as packed as Las Vegas and is a little more affordable for the average person to enjoy some of the top games. While you don’t get some of the razzamatazz of Vegas, you do get to keep the shirt on your back. We find returning home solvent a wonderful conclusion to any tourist excursion.

Monte Carlo, Monaco
But, if money really is no object then you can go the whole hog and head to the South of France and the nation of Monaco. Monte Carlo is the epitome of glamour, made famous by James Bond but the place where racing drivers go to play. There are more rich, famous and generally glamorous people in this place than anywhere in the world. You won’t be able to walk a few yards without passing a millionaire.

Monaco is the smallest country in the world but it is one of the best places to gamble in the world. If you can’t afford the local hotels, the area is also known for some of the great backpacking sites too. The minimum bet is a cent, though we suspect your stakes will be higher.

Macau, China
A place that might not first pop into your head is China. Macau was one of the first places where gambling was legalised. However, up until 2003, attitudes to gambling in the country were pretty conservative. When the laws relaxed, the development in Macau exploded and it now considered the new capital of the gambling world – eclipsing Las Vegas in size if not in reputation.

As this is the only place in China where gambling is permitted, the place is pretty busy. It is also a place where they love sports betting – so again it attracts a large market.

If you are not convinced of the size and majesty of Macua then visit The Venetian. This place has the largest casino floor in the world. You can choose from 640 gaming tables and over 1500 slots. There is a stunning 376000 square metres of space for gamers to enjoy – and potentially get lost.

One bookmaker dominates the city – so there isn’t much choice. However, it is a place that is well worth a visit.

Atlantic City
Atlantic City has really become a leading gambling destination in the US. It is home to eight of the best casinos in the country, including Caesars, Tropicana and the infamous Trump Taj Mahal.

As well as a classic gambling destination, you are also close to some wide beaches and other tourist activities that make this a more fun filled destination. While you might want to dominate your holiday with the gaming tables, coming to Atlantic City gives you the opportunity for a much more rounded experience.

London
If you have time to spare, you can take in all the casinos of London. You can travel from the high spots of Mayfair, the Ritz and the Crockfords Club for those who love VIPs. However, if you want something more reasonable, then you will find a huge selection of owners offer a variety of experience.

One of the benefits of being in a leading city of the world, you can experience all the other tourist attractions too. There are so many cultural and historical sites to visit, as well as money to gamble!
