The world’s most wheelchair-friendly tourist attractions – Storymap

The world’s top tourist attractions should be every bit as accomodating towards people with disabilities as they are for able-bodied visitors. While almost all visitor attractions cater for people in wheelchairs, some go above and beyond to ensure that the experience for all visitors is exemplary.

Michael Leavy, Managing Director of Home Healthcare Adaptations, a family-run company based in Ireland that specialises in adapting homes for the elderly and less abled, created an interactive storymap which outlines nine of the most wheelchair-friendly tourist attractions in the world, spanning the globe from USA and Mexico to Singapore and Australia.
