These are the hottest US cities for year round warm weather

Miami, FL ranks number 1 as the hottest city in the US.

With everyone dreaming of summer weather, why wait! Experiencing more sunny days can result in a better mood and simply help you enjoy life more! If the gloomy winter months have left you in need of your next fix of vitamin D and are not sure where to go, look no further.

Just in time for Spring Break, Holidu, the search engine for holiday rentals decided to seek out the cities where warm weather is almost guaranteed! Using data from World Weather Online, we counted the average temperature per month and have created the ultimate warm-weather travel guide, no matter the time of year! Get ready to top up your tan and book your trip to one of Holidu’s hottest cities.

With an average monthly temperature of 78.7°F and 343.57 hours of sun per month, Miami is the ultimate destination for warm weather and sun-seeking travellers. The city is known for its breathtaking coastlines, offering expansive public beaches where you can soak up the sun on the sand or take a swim in the clear blue water. As if the climate wasn’t enough, Miami is a gorgeous city on its own. This sunshine city packs in amazing waterfront dining and vibrant nightlife, Miami truly has something to offer any kind of traveller.

2. Phoenix, Arizona – avg. 77.1°F and 354.53 hours of sun per month
The first Arizona city in this ranking is the sizzling city of Phoenix. Located in the southwestern state of Arizona, Phoenix is known as the “Valley of the Sun.” Go for a hike on Waterfall Trail in White Tank Mountain Regional Park or head to the Phoenix Mountains Preserve to the Lookout Mountain Trail to reach the summit, but don’t forget your sunscreen! Heading now back to Florida, situated in the most northwestern part, we come to Jacksonville!
