Ηoliday search engine, Holidu.co.uk, has put together a brand new ‘Post-Pandemic Solo Female Travel Index’, ranking the safest cities around the world based on several factors including street safety and crime levels, as well as the attitudes, culture and cost of being a solo traveller in each destination.

Women’s solo travel is one of the biggest trends to have emerged over the last decade, with more and more women taking the plunge and deciding to explore the world alone. And why would they not? Travelling alone can be amazingly liberating.

But the world is a very different place from how it was pre-pandemic and things have changed in more ways than one.

That’s why the holiday search engine, Holidu.co.uk, has put together a brand new 'Post-Pandemic Solo Female Travel Index', ranking the safest cities around the world based on several factors including street safety and crime levels, as well as the attitudes, culture and cost of being a solo traveller in each destination. The index also explores the handling of Covid-19 in the country each respective city is located, and how much the levels of crime have increased over the last three years.

The Top Ten Safest Cities For Post-Pandemic Solo Female Travel

  1. Montreal, Canada
  2. Colombo, Sri Lanka
  3. Ljubljana, Slovenia
  4. Ottawa, Canada
  5. Edmonton, Canada
  6. Vienna, Austria
  7. Linz, Austria
