LONDON - Topdeck Travel, providers of life changing travel adventures for 18-39 year olds, has appointed seasoned tourism marketer, Anna Fawcett for the role of Global Head of Marketing.
In her new role, Anna has already made a mark on a number of initiatives at the organisation through her work on customer research, brand positioning, customer segmentation and the implementation of new booking data analysis tools.
With a priority in the coming months to input on key business decisions to develop the company’s brand, Anna has been tasked with delivering a global marketing strategy that will build on Topdeck’s current positioning and successes in priority markets. As an integral member of the leadership team, her role will also involve driving brand growth by developing targeted messaging and channel strategies to deliver the right product, to the right audience at the right time.

Anna joins Topdeck Travel from Visit Britain where she was the Global Influencer Manager at the tourist board. During her time at Visit Britain, Anna led the tourist board to a number of industry awards including ‘Best Global Partnership’ at the 2017 PRWeek Global Awards and Europe’s leading Digital Marketing Campaign in the 2018 World Travel Awards. She was also involved in managing the launch of Visit Britain’s global brand campaign ‘I Travel For…’ across over 20 markets.
Prior to Visit Britain, Anna managed international media at the Edinburgh Festivals and also spent time back in her homeland in New Zealand promoting some of the country’s biggest festivals including Laneway Festival and NZ International Comedy Festival.
As part of her new role as Global Head of Marketing, Anna will be a guest speaker during the Capture Your Youth session at World Travel Market on November 6th. The event which will be held at the ExCeL London, will see Anna join a panel of youth travel experts and discuss ways in which the Topdeck brand is co-creating value with customers, through storytelling and fostering a ‘culture of contribution’ both internally and externally.
