Tourism: ISO Travel Solutions’ “Crisis Hub” shows worldwide Covid-19 entry regulations at a glance

The travel provider DER Touristik Online has already opted for “Crisis Hub” and offers its guests more security for their travels in this respect.

NUREMNERG – Pandemic-related entry regulations change very quickly and vary from country to country. This makes it difficult for travelers and travel providers to keep track of the current situation. The new “Crisis Hub” web portal from ISO Travel Solutions GmbH provides a remedy.

"Crisis Hub" is a web-based platform from the Nuremberg-based ISO Travel Solutions GmbH (ITS) that displays all the necessary information on currently applicable entry requirements for any country worldwide. With just a few clicks, users can obtain an overview of whether entry into a particular country is subject to mandatory testing or whether masks are required at the destination country. All travelers have to do is enter their destination and nationality. Based on these attributes, "Crisis Hub" generates a color-coded world map that shows which countries people are allowed to enter from, whether there are any restrictions, and where entry into a particular country is currently not permitted.

The ISO Travel Solutions GmbH solution provides detailed information such as which entry forms might be required, proof of accommodation, and the type of COVID-19 test to present upon entry. In addition, the "Crisis Hub" shows relevant regulations at the destination: these could be existing curfews, for example, or whether restaurants, stores, and beaches are open or not. The same applies to return travel regulations. There are links to all current German government and public agency information pages.

The travel provider DER Touristik Online has already opted for "Crisis Hub" and offers its guests more security for their travels in this respect.

"We are continuously expanding our IT solutions to support travel companies and airlines in their daily (extra) work due to Covid-19. “Crisis Hub,” ITS' latest tool, visualizes the applicable travel regulations intuitively. It can be integrated into external websites, so customers can receive all the relevant info before booking. Travel companies can also use the "Crisis Hub" internally, for example, as an information system in the service center or product management," explains Markus Kretschmer, Sales Director ISO Travel Solutions GmbH.
