TourRadar upgrades adventure booking platform for travel advisors

Whether advisors are independent or part of a host agency, they can sign up for free and immediately gain access to search for any of TourRadar’s multi-day adventures in more than 160 countries.

LOS ANGELES, CA – TourRadar, the Adventure Booking Platform that offers more than 50,000+ multi-day organized adventures across the globe from 2,500+ reputable and niche operators, announced it has launched a Partner Portal that allows Travel Advisors to search, compare, and book private, tailor-made, and group tours and adventures for clients while earning a competitive commission. Travel Advisors who register to use TourRadar’s booking platform by Friday, April 29th are entered to win a free trip for two to Egypt.

Whether advisors are independent or part of a host agency, they can sign up for free and immediately gain access to search for any of TourRadar’s multi-day adventures in more than 160 countries. Advisors can search for the right offering for their clients by utilizing a range of filters on TourRadar including duration, price, age range, and more. Advisors can get even more niche by utilizing TourRadar’s unique Adventure Styles which surfaces adventures based on travel styles including Active, Food & Culinary, Hiking & Trekking, River Cruise, Safari and more. Adventures are bookable from well-renowned operators like Globus, G Adventures, Intrepid, or Avalon as well as a range of in-destination boutique operators like Timeless Tours, Sicily Activities, and Galapagos Travel who offer authentic travel experiences and are carefully monitored on the TourRadar platform.

Advisors get access to their own Partner Portal Dashboard that allows them to easily manage bookings, see earned commission, manage a team if acting as an agency, and discover educational content.

“Having worked with quite a few platforms out there, TourRadar is the most user friendly and I so appreciate that,“ said Sophia David, Personal Travel Consultant at Prestige Travel Group, Narat.

Prior to TourRadar launching its Adventure Booking Platform a few months ago, there was not a technology platform or GDS for Travel Advisors and agents to easily discover and book multi-day tours and adventures. In 2019, TourRadar saw more and more agents and advisors using its B2C marketplace to book adventures for their clients. When the pandemic hit and bookings fell through the floor, TourRadar began investing heavily into its platform. One of its key product initiatives was to unlock this huge opportunity of providing Travel Advisors and distribution partners all over the globe with easy, hassle-free access to our bookable inventory of organized adventures.

“Travel Advisors have been an important customer group of ours for a long time. A majority of the industry is still operating offline and we see the benefits for some people to work with their trusted advisor. The pandemic has revealed to us a big need for Travel Advisors around the world to get better access to quality and niche operators and therefore, we decided to build a platform specifically for advisors to book adventures through us,” said Travis Pittman, CEO at Tourradar.
