Trademark Collection by Wyndham enters Portugal with boutique hotel in Porto

Set to open in April 2022, the 49-room stylish hotel will be located in Porto’s busiest shopping district, making it the ideal destinations for travellers seeking to experience the city’s rich culture, delicious cuisine and pleasant year-round weather.

LONDON, UK – Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of Fontinha Hotel Porto, its first Trademark Collection by Wyndham hotel in Portugal. Set to open in April 2022, the 49-room stylish hotel will be located in Porto’s busiest shopping district, making it the ideal destinations for travellers seeking to experience the city’s rich culture, delicious cuisine and pleasant year-round weather.

Porto is Portugal’s second largest city, set along the Douro River estuary – one of the oldest European centres and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Fontinha Hotel Porto, Trademark Collection by Wyndham will be located near Rua Santa Catarina Street, one of the city’s most popular high streets with many local restaurants and attractions. The hotel will boast stylish guest bedrooms and facilities, with a modern design drawing inspiration from the history and art craft of Porto. The property will also feature an on-site restaurant, a trendy lounge bar and a private garden.

Launched in 2017, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is designed for travellers seeking distinctive, attainable accommodations in sought-after destinations, with each Trademark hotel maintaining its own unique attributes. The new entry in Portugal follows the brand’s debut into Belgium (Brussels), Hungary (Budapest), Romania (Bucharest), Greece (Thessaloniki), in addition to further openings in the UK (Manchester and Sheffield) in 2021.

  • Lazart Hotel Thessaloniki, Trademark Collection by Wyndham (Greece) – The 74-room boutique art hotel is the first Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Greece. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool, jazz bar, impressive spa facilities and a business room with a capacity of up to 1000 guests. The hotel’s location allows for direct access to the city centre and is just 20km from Thessaloniki Airport.
  • Bucharest Central, Trademark Collection by Wyndham (Romania) – The first Trademark Collection in the country is located in the heart of Bucharest’s city centre, just a few minutes from the Old Town, the Cismigiu Garden and the Palace of Parliament. The hotel offers 62 guest rooms and facilities, as well as a 24/7 shuttle service to Henri Coandă International Airport.
  • Staindrop Lodge Sheffield, Trademark Collection by Wyndham (UK) – Set in South Yorkshire, the 37-room hotel is perfectly located to discover nearby attractions such as the Peak District National Park and Stanage Edge. The hotel offers brasserie style dining, a bar and three meeting rooms.
  • Trafford Hall Manchester, Trademark Collection by Wyndham (UK) – Situated just one mile from Old Trafford Football Stadium and in close proximity to the Quays, this boutique hotel offers the perfect location to discover the best of Manchester. The hotel has one restaurant, bar and three meeting rooms available to guests.
