TTG, Time for experiental tourism with BeActive

The Italian Exhibition Group marketplace, from 13th to 15th October, revives active tourism.

RIMINI – Mountain biking along mountain trails or discovering one of over 270 Italian villages, yoga meditation and experiences in contact with nature; or perhaps all these options put together. For those who interpret holidays in the form of experiential tourism for mind and body, the place to go is Hall A4 at TTG Travel Experience, where BeActive will be presenting two ways of interpreting 'trust', the main theme of this year's edition: trust in nature and trust in people.

Italian Exhibition Group’s event, scheduled to take place from 13th to 15th October at Rimini Expo Centre, will dedicate even more space and content to active tourism, with new products and case histories all linked to attention to sustainability.

BeActive is the initiative that TTG Travel Experience launched in 2019 for a more personalised approach to holidays after listening to new traveller needs. This year, together with Legambiente Turismo, sustainability, accessibility and trust in the Ecotourism Oscars will be common themes to give new ideas and tools to a tourism that is more attentive to the environment and to keeping territorial social values intact (14th October). What’s more, sport and slowness, nature and culture will alternate in a wider offer tailored to Italy as a destination.

The BeActive Arena will present cycle routes in the Apennines and the services that FIAB (Italian Federation for the Environment and Cycling) makes available to accommodation facilities that welcome cycling tourism and join the Albergabici network (13th October); the Friuli Venezia-Giulia DMO and the involvement of local areas in the construction of new tourism products (14th October); the European project for sustainable tourism entitled 'Recolor' (14th October); and the particular feeling between Slovenia and sportsmen (15th October). Electric mobility at the service of the hospitality sector will also be discussed (13th October) as well as the case of the 'salt community' which has grown up around the Santa Gilla lagoon in the Cagliari area, famous for its flamingos.

TTG Travel Experience takes place alongside SIA Hospitality Design, the only trade show in Italy exclusively for hospitality and new reception concepts, SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, the b2b event of reference for the outdoor world, bathing establishments and campsites, and Superfaces Lite, a brand-new marketplace with innovative materials for interiors, design and architecture.
