Viva Wyndham Resorts announces the renovation of Tangerine

Viva Wyndham Tangerine will reopen on Dec. 18.

MIAMI – Viva Wyndham Resorts announced the renovation project at its all-inclusive Tangerine resort located in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. The $9.5 million remodel was carried throughout almost the entire resort and includes all room categories; restaurants, including the addition of Melt, a new fusion a la carte restaurant; the main bar, lobby, guest service area, pool and a new guest room building. The project demonstrates Viva Wyndham Resorts' commitment to providing guests with memorable experiences at an exceptional value.

Viva Wyndham Tangerine will reopen on Dec. 18. The renovations incorporate the fresh style of the surfing culture in harmony with the environment of the town of Cabarete. Additionally, the resort will offer a new room category called "All Together Rooms." These rooms provide accommodations and privacy within the room for up to five people and are a superb option for families. These rooms offer two separate spaces each with a flat screen TV. The master bedroom has one king size bed and the adjoining area offers two twin beds and a sofa bed, one bathroom, mini fridge, telephone, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, safe box, and a Xbox (available upon request at our Guest Service department).

The new guest room building includes 30 ocean view rooms and is located in front of the pool with a stunning view of the beach. Additionally, the Viva Wyndham Tangerine's four ocean view suites have been totally renovated and feature a sizeable, private terrace that faces the Cabarete beach.

Located 20 minutes from the Puerto Plata International Airport and three minutes from the center of the town of Cabarete, the Viva Wyndham Tangerine is the only all-inclusive resort in Cabarete. In addition to the newly renovated rooms and restaurants, guests can relish the services and amenities the resort has to offer such as a pristine beach, daily activities, live entertainment, a gym, sauna and steam room and unlimited non-motor sports. Additionally, Cabarete is one of the top destinations for kiteboarding in the world and considered the mecca of extreme water sports in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.
