Benefits of car camping
● Car camping is undoubtedly one of the easiest ways to go camping. Unlike backpacking or hiking, car camping provides the option to pack all the gear you need. This means that you can bring along any gear that you might need but would not have been possible if you backpacked. You can bring grills, firewood, mini barbecue, and more.

● Car camping also ensures safety. If you are a first-timer, car camping keeps you worry-free while you have lots of fun. You can also sleep in your car at night. You can take care of your sleeping arrangements by buying backseat inflatable car mattress that easily fit into your car and provide room for more than one-person.

● Many campgrounds come with better facilities for bathrooms. Some of them are equipped with showers, water fountains, and some select campsites also offer fire pits. Moreover, some modernized camping spots have Wi-Fi. You are also allowed to bring your own cooking essentials like grills, firewood, and dishes. These camping locations with all the amenities enrich the experience of camping outdoors.

● If you are travelling with family or a large group of friends, you can still be sure of finding camping locations with accommodation facilities like cabins or yurts. Such cabins can be of greater use and ease as you do not have to bring as much gear along with you. You will still get to relish the camping experience, in a hassle-free way.

How to get started?
Do not worry if you have never gone camping before. Although it might seem intimidating at first, we assure you that is definitely not as difficult as it seems.

Proper planning makes all the difference. Follow the step by step guide, given below, to plan your outdoor camping with ease.

1. The first thing you should do is to plan your trip.

  • This implies picking a date, finding the desired camping location. You can use google to find campgrounds around you.
  • Check with the organizers for available facilities and other inquiries. You can do this by contacting them or visiting their website online.
  • Reserve your site. It can also be done online.
  • Be sure of planning and booking ahead by at least a month or two in the holiday seasons- Summer and surrounding holidays.

2. Take inventory and finalize the gear you will be taking along with you. If you do not already have tents, sleeping bags, or blankets, check with the camp organizers to know if they provide any. Otherwise, take some time to invest in good quality camping supplies that will last you for substantial periods. You can also buy these essentials online from verified merchants.

3. Draw a plan for your meals at the camp. It is better to have each meal properly planned. This is beneficial if you carry perishable foods like meat or dairy. Finish them in the first few days if you are not taking a cooler with you. A plan of your meals also helps you keep track of other heat and cold-sensitive foods you brought along.

4. Now that you have everything planned and sketched properly, make sure to arrive at the campground early. It is definitely easier to set up your tent and other equipment when the sun is still up.

5. Last but not least, it is wise to inform somebody in your friends or family of your whereabouts and when you would possibly return. Alongside that, be open to new adventures and go with the flow. It is always fun and exciting to experience new things!
