Why does Singaporean, Sweden and Germany citizens hold the most powerful passport?

Let us learn why the top three countries of passport index, Singapore, Sweden and Germany, have the most powerful passports to enjoy the perks of travelling around the globe without difficulty.

When we talk about international travelling, the place where you are going may not matter as much as where you are coming from. Some travellers can breeze through customs and stay abroad for months and even years, while others are subjected to expensive visa, strict time limit and long processing.

Why is this discrepancy?
Passports tend to reflect the international standing of a country. The country having optimistic diplomatic associations mostly offers most powerful passports simply because the politicians of those nations have mutually signed the particular bilateral visa contracts.

For instance, the Afghanistan passport holders are extremely limited in where they can travel because the country has been involved in many international conflicts for many years.

Most Powerful Passport Index
The passport index, that rank country every year by the number of nations their citizens can enter without a visa. Let us learn why the top three countries of passport index, Singapore, Sweden and Germany, have the most powerful passports to enjoy the perks of travelling around the globe without difficulty.

1. Singapore
According to this index, Singapore has one of the most powerful passports. Since its foundation in 1965, Singapore’s foreign policy has been fostering many international friends. The country stands neutral during the cold war. Instead of participating in conflicts, they put efforts in uniting the countries that are fighting with each other.

Today, they are playing an active role in United Nations and often stand up as a powerful voice of peace and harmony along with United Stets of America, United Kingdom and China. They also try to advocate the rights of smaller nations and that they have the right of opinion in the United Nations forum.

As a result of its good international standing, Singaporean passport holders can travel visa-free to 156 countries territories, including all countries of Europe. These are the countries that are very difficult to access to if you are holding a passport of another country, but the Singaporean passport holders are offered easiest citizenship programs.

2. Sweden
Sweden takes the similar foreign policy, and according has an almost equally powerful passport as Singapore has. Since the early 19th century, they never engage in wars. In addition to this, their armed forces are always there to raise a voice in the United Nations forums to promote peace and harmony. They also serve the neural role in settling conflicts among nations and also in protecting the small nations.

3. Germany
In addition to above two countries, Germany has an even more powerful visa, as they offer bias-free access to more than 157 countries. Germany is one of the strongest supporters of global cooperation. As a member of many international organisations, it contributes more net funding to the European Union than any other member country. They are also involved in solving many global problems. This is the reason why it offers even more powerful passports to its citizens.

This is how many other countries also have easy visa policies to enter the other countries just because of the credibility of their behaviours, just as Singapore, Sweden and Germany have.
