DESTIN, FL - Xplorie, a leading guest experience solution for lodging providers, announce the hire of Natalie Hernandez as VP of Activity Partnerships. By leveraging access to activities, Xplorie helps lodging providers differentiate their properties, increase occupancy and drive guest loyalty in a competitive market.
Natalie joined the Florida-headquartered company at the end of January. In this newly created role, she will be leading Xplorie’s Activity Supplier Program, which develops and manages relationships with top tour, attraction, and activity suppliers in over 50 destinations across North America.
These relationships enable Xplorie’s customers — including property management companies, hoteliers and other lodging providers — to offer unique and memorable experiences to their guests. They also have a positive impact on local communities, as businesses that support one another collectively help the tourism ecosystem thrive.
Natalie is a proven sales and business development leader. With more than 15 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, she has a deep understanding of the tours and activities sector. Her most recent role was in strategic partnerships at global travel company, Expedia Group, and has previously held Sales positions at major tourism operators in New York City.
Natalie Hernandez, VP of Activity Partnerships at Xplorie said: “After the boom in popularity of vacation rentals during the pandemic, it’s exciting to be joining a company that has been innovating in this sector for over 25 years. I’m looking forward to growing our Activity Programs, supporting the success of our partners, and seeing where we can take Xplorie next.”
Matthew Loney, CEO of Xplorie, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Natalie to our team. She understands our unique proposition as a brand and how we are helping not just lodging providers, but local businesses too. Natalie’s hire comes at a pivotal moment for Xplorie and the wider industry, as consumers become more optimistic about travel. Lodging providers are going to need to stay competitive to attract guests and our expanding team is best placed to help them do so.”
