SLOVENIA – The annual IGTM Golf Tournament at the 2018 edition of International Golf Travel Market will make history this year when it tees off in three different countries.
Open to all IAGTO members, the 2018 IGTM Golf Tournament is expected to attract more than 320 Tour Operators and media, with participants given the opportunity to play golf in Slovenia, the 2018 IGTM host destination, as well as in Austria and Croatia.
Five golf courses will host the tournament, including three venues in Slovenia – Cubo Diners Golf Course, Otocec Golf Course and the country’s oldest layout, Royal Bled Golf Course – as well as Golf Course Velden in Austria and Golf Course Adriatic Kempinski in Croatia, which overlooks the coast of Slovenia.

Voted IAGTO Undiscovered Golf Destination of the Year in 2015, Slovenia received more than 4.3 million tourists in 2016 and is gaining a burgeoning reputation as one of Europe’s fastest growing golf destinations.

More than 550 suppliers, including national and regional golf tourism organisations and leading resorts and golf courses are expected to attend and exhibit in 2018, meeting approximately 420 pre-qualified buyers and tour operators via IGTM’s pre-scheduled appointment system during the four-day event.
This year’s appointment-based event will be staged at The GR Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital city, from October 15 – 18, 2018.
