Due to the National Day parade and celebrations, there will be road restrictions in place on December 18 from 3am until 1pm on the C-ring road and Corniche road.
DOHA – On the occasion of Qatar National Day, Doha International Airport (DIA) would like to extend our congratulations and blessings to The Emir His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Heir Apparent His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and to the citizens of the State of Qatar on this special day.
Doha International Airport would like to announce that due to the National Day parade and celebrations, there will be road restrictions in place on December 18 from 3am until 1pm on the C-ring road and Corniche road, specifically affecting access to the arrivals terminal at the airport between these hours.
To access the arrivals terminal during this time, we strongly encourage passengers to use the shuttle bus service between the departures and arrivals terminals. The shuttle bus stop is located at the short term parking area in front of the departure terminal. The shuttle departs every 10 minutes with the journey to the arrivals terminal taking approximately 10 minutes.
Due to an expected increase of vehicle traffic both on the way to Doha International Airport and at the airport parking facilities at Departures and Arrivals, we would like to suggest that passengers travelling on Qatar National Day plan on allowing extra time for their journey and parking at the airport.
Friends and family members should allow extra time for their journey to meet arriving passengers, as delays are expected due to heavy traffic on National Day.
Passengers arriving at Doha International Airport should also expect delays due to taxi availability. The taxi rank at arrivals is located parallel to the terminal.
Doha International Airport would like to wish the citizens of the State of Qatar an enjoyable and safe Qatar National Day.
