Italian ambassador to Egypt proposes new ideas to attract more Italian tourists to Sharm El-Sheikh

The Italian Ambassador to Egypt Antonio Badini said that his country is currently studying the implementation of some new projects that might attract more Italian and European tourists to Sharm El-Sheikh city.



One of these projects is to establish a maritime institute to study the dolphin life and behavior because it interests the Europeans in general and the Italians in particular since they think that dealing with the dolphin help to the recovery of psychological patients, added Badini.



These statements came during the Italian ambassador`s visit to South Sinai and his meeting with Major General Youssof Afifi, Governor of South Sinai to hold talks on possible means of attracting , Italian investment as well as promoting the Italian tourism to Sharm El-Sheikh.



Badini further announced that he would hold over the coming two months a big conference in Egypt to be attended by 600 Italian travel agencies to discuss investment in Egypt including tourist investments.



Meanwhile, Badini noted that car race could be one of the proposed projects since it is one of the most favorite sports for the Italians in addition to conduct other joint projects between Egyptian and the Italian governments.



Badini eventually pointed out the possibility of organizing exhibitions in Italy for the Bedouin garments to help bedouins raise their living standard and obtain better services
