African expansion for parking company as it seals partnership with fastjet

Leeds-based airport parking price comparison company continues expansion abroad.

A Leeds-based company which offers an airport parking price comparison and booking service has launched a new pre-paid airport parking service in partnership with African flight operator fastjet. The service will allow all fastjet customers to purchase parking from a select range of their most popular destinations.

The company’s new site airportparkingafrica.com will initially launch with parking available at Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa. Further expansion will continue in 2014 to cover other fastjet locations.

Passengers travelling from any of the four airports will be able to use the company’s existing price comparison site looking4parking.com to pre-book airport parking. Customers in Africa will also have a tailored website offering them a fully localised booking path, making it quick and easy for them to book with confidence knowing they are booking with a fastjet partner. Full integration into the fastjet booking system is coming during 2014.

Ellis Cain-Jones, Head of Commercial at fastjet, said: “Having now successfully established our business model we are delighted to be able to start the roll out of fastjet’s ancillary products. Our partnership with Looking4Parking Limited means fastjet’s roll out has got off to a rapid start.”

Martin Mansell, Commercial Director at Looking4Parking.com, said: “We are delighted to be expanding into Africa. Our partnership with fastjet allows us to integrate our advanced booking technologies with fastjet’s own systems, and gives us access to a large and rapidly expanding market in Africa”.

“Our business has grown quickly in the UK and, now that we are one of the biggest operators domestically, the natural step was for us to look overseas. This expansion is very exciting for us and it is great to be working in partnership with the fastjet team.”
