ROME – Alitalia chooses Greece the upcoming summer, and will offer seasonal flights, connecting Rome Fiumicino airport with the airports of Rhodes, Heraklion (Crete), Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakynthos, Mykonos, Santorini, Skiathos, Preveza (Lefkada), as well as Milan Linate airport with Rhodes and vice versa.

In detail, Alitalia will operate flights from Rome Fiumicino to Rhodes from 3 July until 5 September (2 weekly flights in July and 4 weekly flights in August), 2 weekly flights to Heraklion (from 1 July until 31 August), Corfu (from 3 August to 31 August), Kefalonia (from 3 August until 31 August), Zakynthos (from 3 July until 30 August), Mykonos (from 2 July to 31 August), Santorini (from 2 August to 30 August),  Skiathos (from 2 August to 30 August) and  Preveza (from 02 August to 30 August). Alitalia will also connect Milan Linate airport with Rhodes two times per week from 03 July until 05 September.

Flying safely has always been Alitalia’s priority. In compliance with the current Italian and International regulations, all Alitalia aircraft are sanitized with high-powered sanitizing products every day and, thanks to HEPA filters and vertical circulation, the air on board is not only renewed every three minutes, but it is also 99.7% pure, just like in a sterile medical room, confirming that air travel remains the safest way to travel. In addition, passengers must wear a protective surgical mask from their arrival at the airport and during the flight. The protective surgical mask must be replaced with a new one every 4 hours, in case of longer flights.

Flights schedule may be subject to changes, due to travel limitations imposed by National and International Authorities, in relation to the evolution of Covid-19.
