New Amadeus program features strategic alliance with Travel Startups Incubator to deliver best-in-class travel technology and expertise.
MIAMI – Amadeus announced the launch of “Amadeus for Startups,” a new program designed to equip travel startups in the North American marketplace with industry leading technology, expertise and consultative support to navigate the complexities of the travel industry and achieve success.
“Amadeus recognizes that the future of travel lies in the innovations and disruptive ideas being generated within the startup community. But travel startups often face distinctive challenges in establishing and growing their business and that’s where we can uniquely advise,” said Alix Arguelles, Vice President Online Travel Group, Amadeus North America. “Through Amadeus for Startups, we are aligning the technology, investment and academic communities to offer new travel companies a simplified, affordable consulting partnership that will help ensure they are equipped with the travel and technology solutions and guidance they need.”
With this program, Amadeus will bring its extensive industry knowledge and expertise to advise emerging travel startups looking to streamline their processes and enhance and accelerate their ability to succeed. With a solid track record of working with online companies, Amadeus has a mission to provide cutting-edge technology, superior services and unparalleled travel expertise to online travel and search companies of all sizes and stages of development. For many years, Amadeus has worked successfully to advance numerous travel startups and support their growth and evolution of their businesses.
To further enhance the value delivered to emerging online players, Amadeus has also uniquely partnered with leading incubator, Travel Startups Incubator. Travel Startups Incubator is a virtual, global, travel technology incubator and platform which funds seed-stage and early-stage travel startups and entrepreneurs and offers a private network to connect with advisors, mentors, partners and investors.
Through this new alliance, Amadeus will provide the incubator with access to Amadeus’ tenured team of travel experts and best-in-class technology solutions, as well as opportunities to participate in industry training workshops, startup bootcamps and educational seminars co-hosted by the two organizations.
“The Amadeus for Startups program directly supports the entrepreneurial and creative spirit ingrained in startups. We are excited to partner with Travel Startups Incubator who share our commitment to fostering innovation and long-term relationships with our startup participants looking to establish or advance their online footprint and future success,” said Arguelles.
Through the new alliance, Travel Startups Incubator will work closely with Amadeus’ leading online travel experts who will provide customized support, account management and technical and operational sales support to further optimize the startups’ solutions.
“We are excited to ignite our business by partnering with Amadeus, an industry veteran and clear leader in travel technology,” said Matt Zito, Co-Managing Partner, Travel Startups Incubator. “This alliance demonstrates Amadeus’ commitment to supporting the travel ecosystem and its willingness to help our business inspire, fund and connect travel startups throughout their journey.”
The incubator will have access to Amadeus’ advisors, mentors, consulting services and IT technology for its portfolio of startups along with marketing support to promote Travel Startups Incubator globally. Amadeus will provide expert guidance to the startups looking to acquire customers, convert traffic, retain clients and personalize their sites for unique customer experiences. In turn, Travel Startups Incubator will connect Amadeus to emerging startups seeking travel technology and/or distribution expertise and support.
“We look forward to working together with Amadeus as our travel startups continue to innovate and grow in today’s evolving travel industry,” added Nicole Zito, the incubator’s Co-Managing Partner.
