Take advantage of Barranquilla’s prime access to the Atlantic Ocean and the Magdalena River and spoil yourself with amazing fish and seafood such as fried catfish.

  • Cartagena; 42% YoY Growth

Consider visiting Alma restaurant, located within Casa San Agustin Hotel – one of American Express’ Fine Hotels & Resorts Properties. This restaurant radiates the life of Cartagena de Indias and offers the best of traditional cuisine of the renowned Chef Heberto Eljach in the heart of the city. Cazuela de Mariscos is also a specialty here and is usually accompanied with coconut rice and patacones, the staple side-dishes of most Colombian Caribbean coast dishes.

Boomin’ Cities in Brazil

  • Sao Paulo; 69% YoY Growth

If you’re looking to eat like a local, don’t miss out on the typical feijoada experience. This celebratory dish is traditionally served on a Sunday afternoon and is intended to be a leisurely meal and not eaten under rushed circumstances.

If you are looking for a more elevated experience, consider visiting world renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten Michelin-Starred restaurant in Palacio Tangara – another Fine Hotels & Resorts Property.

  • Rio de Janeiro; 39% YoY Growth

As one of Brazil’s most visited cities, it’s inevitable that Rio has a melting pot of foods from all regions of Brazil. For example, Pao de queijo is a staple here even though it comes from the state of Minas Gerais. This coastal city also has an abundance of juice bars at nearly every street corner to get your Acai fix.
