Argentina to welcome vaccinated U.S. travelers November 1, 2021 with no quarantine requirement

Travelers flying domestically between Argentina’s various regions, to and from Buenos Aires, will not be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test.

NEW YORK – Following weeks of positive health news, including a significant decrease in infections, Argentina will authorize entry of fully vaccinated foreign travelers from all over the world as of November 1, 2021. Thanks to its privileged geography, with numerous natural spaces and one million square miles of terrain, entry into Argentina will not require a quarantine for fully vaccinated travelers who can provide a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to entering Argentina. Specific entry requirements include:

  • Complete vaccination schedule dated at least 14 days prior to arrival in the country
  •  A negative PCR within 72 hours prior to entering Argentina

Travelers flying domestically between Argentina’s various regions, to and from Buenos Aires, will not be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test. As Argentina is currently entering its summer season, now is a wonderful time to experience its huge array of offerings, such as cheering at a fútbol match in Buenos Aires, hiking to a glacier in Los Glaciares National Park, horseback riding through a Mendoza winery, whale watching at Valdés Peninsula and witnessing the rushing water of Iguazú Falls.

In addition to Argentina’s border reopening, dance clubs and large scale events of more than 1,000 people have been authorized to open at a 50% capacity to fully vaccinated attendees. As part of Argentina’s reopening strategy, the following flight operations are scheduled from November onwards, servicing U.S. and Canadian travelers:

Argentinian Airlines
Miami-Buenos Aires (9 weekly)
New York-Buenos Aires (5 weekly in November and 6 weekly in December)

American Airlines
Miami-Buenos Aires (13 weekly in November and 2 daily in December)
