Aruba Tourism Authority promotes Sjeidy Dijkhoff-Feliciano to Area Director of North America

Dijkhoff-Feliciano brings her extensive marketing experience to her new role for the One happy island.

ORANJESTAD, ARUBA – The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) has announced the promotion of Sjeidy Dijkhoff- Feliciano to Area Director of North America, overseeing the tourism board’s regional sales and marketing teams. Dijkhoff-Feliciano has been at the A.T.A. since 2002, with her most recent role as Communications Manager, spearheading Aruba’s public relations and influencer marketing efforts, across ten international markets, to promote the destination’s vibrant culture, stunning beaches, and top-rated hotels. 

“We are thrilled that Sjeidy is stepping into her next role of Area Director of North America and continues to grow within the A.T.A.”, said Ronella Croes, Chief Executive Officer, A.T.A. “Sjeidy is a senior tourism professional well respected both within our organization and among our many external stakeholders within and outside the tourism industry. Of her many career milestones, she played a critical role in managing Aruba’s crisis communication strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic, later shifting her focus to communicating the island’s re-opening, healthy and safety procedures and visitor travel requirements.”

In her new role, Sjeidy will partner closely with US tour operators and other key industry partners, but will remain based in A.T.A. HQ, allowing her to maintain strong relationships with on-island partners and stakeholders to better understand their business needs.

The A.T.A. is the Destination Marketing and Management Organization for the One happy island Aruba. With the aim of positioning and developing Aruba as the preferred Caribbean destination, the A.T.A. is responsible for uniting tourism interests amongst the on- and off-island stakeholders/partners for the purpose of coordinating destination marketing, destination development and destination partnerships.
