Fam Trip in Greece with VISTA members

VISTA (Vietnam Society of Travel Agents) and Travel Media Applications, the Publisher of TravelDailyNews Media Network, work in close collaboration aiming to increase outbound tourism potential from Viet Nam. Recently, they co- organized with Argo Travel Group, one of the leading DMCs of Greece, in order to organize a fam trip in Greece with 14 Travel Agents, members of VISTA. The group spent 8 days in Greece, one of the best “mystery” destinations for the Vietnamese tourists. Some of the highlights during this educational trip were: Acropolis Archaeological site & Museum, Poseidon Temple in Sounion, Plaka Flea Market, 1-day cruise in Argosaronic Gulf Islands (Hydra, Poros, Aegina),Santorini Island, Delphi Archaeological site & Museum, Parnassos mountain resorts, Kalambaka, Meteora Monasteries, Corinth Canal, Epidaurus site & Ancient Theater, Nafplion, Athens Coastal area and many more…

Mr Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA (Vietnam Society of Travel Agents) was leading the group during its stay in Greece. Mr Binh has already been in Greece many times, and believes it is the ideal place for Vietnamese tourists to relax and visit some of the most important archaeological sites in the world.

Enjoying “Athens by night” at ‘Neos Rigas’ traditional Greek Taverna in Plaka area. Mr Vu The Binh, Chairman of VISTA together with Mr Chien Le Dinh, Secretary General of VISTA, Mrs Carmen Cordova and Mr. Chistros Papasakellariou from Argo Travel, Mr. Stratis Voursoukis, Mr. Panos Fotiadis and Mrs. Vicky Karantzavelou from Travel Media Applications.

 

At Trokadero Marina, right before the embarkation for the One Day Cruise to Argosaronic Gulf islands (Hydra, Poros,Aegina).

 

The Vietnamese Travel Agents loved the Greek sea food. The photo was taken in a local fish tavern in Mikrolimano area, wishing “Yamas” (“Cheers” in Greek) and “Yo” (“Cheers” in Vietnamese)!

The whole team together with H.E. the Ambassador of Viet Nam in Greece, Mr. Binh Vu, at Kamari, the famous black sand beach of Santorini Island.

 

During the visit at Fira, the main town on Santorini Island, right in front of the amazing caldera cliffs. Santorini Island is the leading choice among the Asian travelers visiting Greece.

 

Mrs. Trinh My Nghe from ITC Travel and the rest delegates from Vietnam had the opportunity to experience the wedding concept in Oia. Weddings in Santorini are a very popular travel product for most Asian markets.

 

Part of the program was the visit and wine tasting at a local winery in Santorini. “Wine routes” is a very interesting thematic element for both MICE and leisure Asian travelers.

 

The VISTA travel agents while inspecting the renovated Elatos Resort & Health Club, an awarded mountain resort located on Parnassos Mountain, nearby the local ski center.

 

Mountains are a very important element in Asian culture and religion. The delegation team together with the Elatos Resort & Health Club Hotel Manager, Mr Dimitris Kissas.

 

The VISTA travel agents while inspecting the famous “Meteora” Byzantine Monasteries in Central Greece. They were highly interested in Religious Tourism highlights, in order to include them in their future programs.
