MARRAKECH, MOROCCO – The burgeoning global reputation of award-winning Assoufid Golf Club, situated close to the vibrant North African city of Marrakech, continues to build as it is once again recognised as the finest golf experience in Morocco.

In a further boost to the continued development of Marrakech as an international golf destination, the city was recently announced as host venue for next year’s International Golf Travel Market (IGTM), the world’s premier global event for golf tourism suppliers, buyers and media, that will be staged October 14-17.
Marrakech, famed for its souks, world-class cuisine and clubs, welcomed over two million tourists last year and now boasts 13 golf courses.
Alongside its exciting golf proposition, the city’s must-visit sites include the Djemaa el Fna Square, Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Tower and the Saadian Tombs.
