ATPI strengthens Aberdeen team with newly created role

Over the last seven years, Claire McGuinness has been an integral part of the Aberdeen account management team and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the business travel space.

Leading travel and events management business, the ATPI Group has promoted Claire McGuinness to project lead of the account management team in Aberdeen for its specialist brand ATPI Marine & Energy. The newly created role has been introduced to strengthen ATPI’s positioning within Aberdeen and the wider Scottish markets and illustrates the organisation’s ability to adapt successfully to the changes and complexities taking place in the energy sector.

Over the last seven years, McGuinness has been an integral part of the Aberdeen account management team and brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge of the business travel space. Reporting to Helen Gordon, general manager, McGuinness’s internal promotion will see her manage complex project work, change management and travel programmes for clients in the energy sector.

In her new role, McGuinness will continue managing a portfolio of clients while taking on added responsibilities, including creating new business opportunities and income streams for the business line.

Helen Gordon, general manager at ATPI, Scotland commented: “We are committed to investing in our people at ATPI and we are proud to see Claire progress in the company as an integral member of the Aberdeen account management team. She has extensive experience in managing a portfolio of clients in the energy industry and we feel confident she will lead our team to success in her new role.”
