ATPI has strengthened its global network team as the corporate travel management company signs 13 new service locations in key areas around the world. The news follows ATPI’s latest step in the strategic reorientation of its international network, placing greater emphasis on the regional management of service locations and consistent client services.

Part of the ATPI Group for over 15 years, network business development manager, Michel Habich, has been appointed international network director with immediate effect. Habich takes on responsibility for maintaining, expanding and enforcing ATPI’s global network – which has grown to more than 100 service locations in 75 markets to date.

ATPI’s multinational office network and best-in-market capabilities include but are not limited to local language, airline inventory and fares, ground services, local currency invoicing, technology and consolidated data.

The news comes as ATPI’s international network continues to expand following the signing of 13 new service locations in key markets across Africa and South America in 2021. ATPI continues to grow its footprint globally with new service locations Via Nova in Buenos Aires, Ubico Viajes Corporativos with multiple offices in Spain, Melcom Travels and Tours in Ghana, Rickshaw Travels in Tanzania and Quang Thinh Trading & Travel Co. LTD in Ho Chi Minh City among others.

Ian Sinderson, ATPI CEO, said: "Expanding ATPI’s footprint around the world in the countries and locations most strategically relevant to our clients continues to be a core area of investment for our business. Our growing Africa expertise for example is industry-leading, and we are excited to further increase our presence across other continents.”

Additionally, Jeroen van Hest – formerly director, international network and commercial services – has stepped up as global head of corporate development. This includes developing and implementing long-term business strategies and facilitation of strategic decision making, business and commercial planning, M&A, strategic partnerships and  reporting. The new business sees van Hest reporting directly to group CEO, Ian Sinderson, with time also dedicated to other ATPI Group ventures.

ATPI has a strong track record of nurturing its people, with recent people investments including the appointment of Niels Grevenstuk as the new commercial head of global sports business, Pippa Ganderton as product director of the recently launched ATPI Halo division, Sofie Sinoo as creative and group marketing director and the promotion of Katie Skitterall to group commercial director.
