The COOL Venue Awards, now in its 8th year, brings together the very best in the industry and is run by Prestige Events Magazine.
The Barbican was honoured at Prestige Event’s COOL awards ceremony last week after picking up the ‘COOLest Conference & Exhibition Centre’ award.
The awards, held at Cafe de Paris, brought together event professionals to celebrate the industry and honour those picking up awards on the night. A judging panel of 18 peers taken from the editorial team of Prestige Events Magazine, and the UK’s leading event agencies and corporates, pulled together their top three venues in each category before the winners were chosen.
“To be given this award is a major credit to everyone who works hard to ensure the Barbican delivers year in and year out as a leading venue,” comments Jackie Boughton, Head of Sales at Barbican Business Events. “It was a fantastic night of networking and celebrating the industry as a whole but to be awarded with the ‘COOLest Conference & Exhibition Centre’ award made it all the more special.”
