As members of the European executive team, Wolfgang Strasser and Joanna Greenfield will report to BCD President, Europe Michèle Lawley.
UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS – Travel management company BCD Travel welcomed Wolfgang Strasser and Joanna Greenfield as two new senior vice presidents (SVP) for the European region. Strasser began his role on September 1 and Greenfield began on December 1.
Strasser has more than 30 years of corporate travel industry experience in operational and commercial management. At BCD, he uses his proven leadership ability to focus on long-term relationship-building and results-oriented management for the Nordics, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Poland.
Greenfield is based in London and has more than 20 years of corporate travel industry experience in operational, product, commercial and general management. In her role, she facilitates multinational growth and develops strong relationships with clients throughout Italy, France, Benelux, the U.K. and Ireland region. She also provides leadership to the management team of the European Service Center, currently operating out of Barcelona and Krakow.
“As our European region rapidly evolves, the addition of Wolfgang and Joanna ensures we are meeting the region’s needs with top talent to provide leadership and support for our managing directors in multiple countries,” said BCD President, Europe Michèle Lawley. “They both bring years of experience in business travel management and a multicultural understanding that are essential at BCD.”
As members of the European executive team, Strasser and Greenfield will report to Lawley. Greenfield filled the position previously held by Lawley before her promotion to president, Europe, and Strasser took on the role previously held by Karen Smithson, who left the company in June.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
