BCD Travel named 2014 Most Admired Travel Management Company

The 7th Annual Beat Readers' Choice Awards reflects the results of a readers' poll conducted earlier this summer.

UTRECHT, NETHERLANDS – BCD Travel has been named 2014 Most Admired Travel Management Company for the second year running. Presented by The Beat, a widely popular business travel newsletter published by Northstar Travel Media, the 7th Annual Beat Readers’ Choice Awards reflects the results of a readers’ poll conducted earlier this summer.

The poll asked what company in each of the six supplier segments (airline, hotel, car rental, TMC, tech provider, payment system) they “most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients.”

The Beat’s readers include those working in the business travel industry from corporations, TMCs, airlines, hotels, global distribution systems, technology providers, car rental firms, payment systems, consultants, financial analysts and media.

“We’re proud and humbled by this honor, because The Beat’s Reader’s Choice Awards are voted on by our customers and peers,” said BCD Travel President and CEO John Snyder. “I attribute our recognition as that group’s favorite TMC to our corporate culture here, which challenges and provides support to every one of our 11,000 employees around the world to strengthen the competencies that create both personal success and customer satisfaction. Every employee shares in this honor.”
