Bébé Voyage launches family travel membership program with emphasis on local discovery

Club Bébé Voyage’s membership program is an effort to monetize the widely-accessed website and social media platforms in order to reimburse content contributors and make involvement more feasible for lower-income present or potential site administrators, which will also work towards BBV’s goal of diversifying its community.

For the past five years, Bébé Voyage has grown from a small group of devoted mothers into an international community of parents with more than 200,000 followers across their social media platforms and a website full of advice for traveling with small children. Their newest venture is a membership program featuring discounts on baby gear, personal profiles à la social media, private group forums, a pen pal program for kids, advice from industry experts, and even more blog content. Parent ambassadors and partner brands from around the world have come together to promote the membership site, which is set to launch in September.

Co-founder Juliet Perrachon noted that, “This pandemic has changed the way we see travel, so Bébé Voyage’s membership program also aims to help families connect with one another, discover activities close to home through our local city guides, and learn about different cultures from home.” The Club’s goal is to keep the spirit of travel alive even as we hunker down.

Subscribers will be able to choose between three plans according to budget and desired features. The $119 per year Voyager plan offers a full range of benefits, including the pen pal program and local city guides. The $59 per year Explorer plan is a great option for those who would like more exclusive content without committing to the full package. Like the Voyager plan, it includes ambassador-approved location listings and partner brand discounts. It does not include the pen pal program or local city guides.

The free Courier plan is a good place to start for those who are not yet familiar with Club Bébé Voyage’s resources. Just like the other plans, it offers a personal profile, private group forums, and a weekly newsletter. However, it does not include the pen pal program, local city guides, ambassador-approved location listings, or partner brand discounts. Members may upgrade their plan at any point.
