Boutique marina opens in Malta's Valletta Waterfront development

Laguna Marina is not only relieving the pressure on space to safely keep craft up to 52 feet in length, but offers a superior level of service on a daily, monthly, seasonal or annual basis with cleaning, refueling, provisioning, maintenance and berthing assistance to the discerning motor yacht owner.

, the exclusive, boutique marina on the Valletta waterfront in Malta, was officially opened by the President of the Republic, Mr George Abela on Thursday 26th September, in a ceremony which preceded the start of the BOV Valletta Boatshow.

Laguna Marina is not only relieving the pressure on space to safely keep craft up to 52 feet in length, but offers a superior level of service on a daily, monthly, seasonal or annual basis with cleaning, refueling, provisioning, maintenance and berthing assistance to the discerning motor yacht owner.

Laguna Marina is exclusively designed for motor yachts up to 15m with a maximum draft of 1.8m. Berths are on floating pontoons with fingers for ease of access and mooring with the added benefit of offering a superior level of safety in all weather conditions and monitored security.

Dean Bucknell of Mersenne Marinas Limited, the owners of the new facility stated: “Laguna Marina’s location, at the heart of the stunning and vibrant Valletta Waterfront development, offers an all weather marina with safe and secure moorings thus extending the owners usage time of the yacht through the warm winter months with a unique service offering to the Maltese yachting community.”

Mr Bucknell thanked the President, his marina team and the suppliers, commenting that ‘as a foreign investor, Laguna Marina is an excellent reflection of the range of skills, quality of products and ability meet the highest of customer expectations in Malta today.
