"Brussels Mice Day": A MICE networking day in Brussels

With 787 conventions and meetings in 2014, Brussels came first in Europe and second in the world in the UIA ranking of convention destinations. The capital of Belgium, the political and administrative centre of Europe, also has numerous institutions and associations.

On 10 March 2016, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm Meetaxis is organising “Brussels Mice Day“, a business and events tourism trade show/workshop. This will be held at Tour & Taxis in the Hotel de la Poste.

For one day, professional suppliers from the Brussels-Capital region will have the opportunity to show off their destination and the best it has to offer for the organisation of seminars, conferences, conventions, big events, motivational travel, training courses, receptions, business trips and all kinds of meetings and events.

With 787 conventions and meetings in 2014, Brussels came first in Europe and second in the world in the UIA ranking of convention destinations. The capital of Belgium, the political and administrative centre of Europe, also has numerous institutions and associations.

“Brussels Mice Day” will be an opportunity for potential customers from the business tourism sector to meet some 60 trade suppliers. Meeting and talks for associations and corporate planners will boost this one-day trade show/workshop.

An event for customers and suppliers
“Brussels Mice Day” is only open to caterers, convention centres, hotels and hotel chains, seminar and conference centres, meeting and reception rooms in the Brussels-Capital Region or those who, at the very least, operate from offices in Brussels.

The professional customers attending will mainly be decision makers and influencers in the MICE sector, such as international associations, corporate buyers, lobbyists and ambassadors, managerial assistants and all others who help, either directly or from afar, with decisions on budgeting and destinations for events for their particular organisation.

These 400 to 500 trade visitors, planners and buyers, will not only come from Brussels but from all over Belgium and Europe (UK, NL, DE and FR), and for international visitors a Hosted Buyers programme is being set up as well as pre-arranged meetings with the exhibitors before the trade show/workshop.
