Cunard Lines has announced plans for the world`s largest passenger ship<.>, to debut in 2003. The ship will have a capacity to carry 2,500 passengers on transantlantic voyages, traveling at a speed of 30 knots.

Although details have not yet been revealed, the company claims the new vessel will be larger than the Voyager of the Sea, of Royal Caribbean Lines, which is currently the largest ship afloat.
