Christian will take over his new role as CEO of Stockholmsmassan on January 7, 2020.
Christian Clemens has been named the new CEO of Stockholmsmassan. Christian most recently held the position of CEO for the airline BRA, Braathens Regional Airlines. He will take over as head of Stockholmsmassan in January 2020.
Stockholmsmassan, the Nordic region’s largest exhibition and congress center, has been owned since 1964 by Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and the City of Stockholm.Thanks to its large number of national and international exhibitions, congresses and corporate events, Stockholmsmassan is an important part of the capital’s hospitality industry.

Stockholmsmassan can now look to the future with a CEO who enables this meeting hub to consolidate its position as the most important in the Nordic region,” says Mayor of Stockholm Anna Konig Jerlmyr, who also chairs Stockholmsmassan’s Board of Directors.
Andreas Hatzigeorgiou, CEO of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce and Deputy Chair of Stockholmsmassan’s Board, is pleased with the appointment: “Stockholmsmassan plays a key role in the business and attractiveness of the region. Christian brings extensive experience from the travel industry, and is fully capable of developing Stockholmsmassan’s role as a leading meeting venue and a magnet for both exhibitors and visitors.”
Christian Clemens has most recently held the position of CEO for the airline BRA. He was also previously CEO of TUI in the Nordic region, TUI in Germany and Ving Gruppen. Christian will take over his new role as CEO of Stockholmsmassan on January 7, 2020.

Mathias Lindroth, CFO of Stockholmsmassan, will remain Acting CEO until January 7, 2020, when Christian Clemens takes over.
