MINNEAPOLIS – Craft Bar and Lounge is now open at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The venue is a collaboration between the Minneapolis Convention Center, Kelber Catering, Meet Minneapolis and the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild. Located on the balcony of the new Minneapolis Visitor Information Center in the lobby of the convention center, Craft Bar and Lounge offers meeting planners and attendees an opportunity to connect over a selection of Minnesota brews in a relaxed and sociable environment.

To accompany your beverage of choice, Kelber Catering, the convention center’s exclusive caterer, has created a unique menu for Craft Bar and Lounge. The tasty options range from Hell Battered Chicken with Surly Hell-infused batter to Naan Pizzas, Sliders to Sweet Chili Pork Wings and Braised Pork Nachos to the House Fries featuring a Grain Belt Premium Cheese Sauce.
“The Craft Bar and Lounge takes us another step closer to fulfilling our promise as the Relationship Building,” says Jeff Johnson, executive director of the Minneapolis Convention Center. “The great new space will provide another, more intimate gathering place for our convention attendees and meeting planners. It’s also a perfect place for anyone attending an event at the MCC to stop by for a beverage and something to eat before, during or after the event.”
Industry leaders and event attendees from across the country will now have the chance to kick back, relax and enjoy a taste of Minnesota’s favorites at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
