Desire Cruises reveals new 2022 itineraries

Desire Cruises raises de bar of luxury cruising with new exotic routes to destinations including Rio de Janeiro and Ibiza.

CANCUN, QUINTANA ROO, MEXICO – Original Group, a leading expert of adult hospitality, revealed the itineraries for its 2022 Desire Cruise voyages. The adults-only, couples-only, clothing-optional cruises will take free-spirited travelers to new exhilarating destinations around the globe in 2022, boasting calls in Rio de Janeiro, Ibiza, and the Greek Islands.

All cruises feature outstanding culinary options, premium beverage package, couples’ workshops and seminars, and clothing-optional areas. Desire’s steamy agenda includes stimulating pool parties, sexy theme nights, and much more. The voyages’ main showstopper is Desire’s iconic “Playroom”- an erotic hotspot with a sensual atmosphere for couples seeking to live out their forbidden fantasies at sea.

“We constantly strive to make our offering the most epic possible and bring our guests the best in cruise travel," said Rodrigo de la Pena, CEO of Original Group. “Our guests are well-seasoned world travelers, and they expect outstanding service, luxury accommodations, indulgent gastronomy, and the best adult entertainment in the market. Our sophisticated clientele pushes us to surpass expectations year after year, and this includes partnering with the trendiest destinations that will match our concept and offer one-of-a-kind experiences that will complement our onboard experience.”

The three new itineraries for 2022 are as follows:

Desire Lisbon- Ibiza
Setting sail on May 19 2022, this seven-night cruise will take passengers around the Iberian Peninsula. First, the voyage will depart from Lisbon, Portugal’s gem full of historic landmarks, awe-inspiring hilltop views, and a vibrant gastronomic scene. Next, the cruise will call in Seville, one of Spain’s most charming towns with its tapas bars and Flamenco shows; and continue to Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory, where passengers, weather-permitting, can even catch a glipmse of Northern Africa. The voyage will then make its way to Ibiza, the legendary party capital of the world and home to some of the Mediterranean’s most breathtaking beaches. Finally, guests will disembark in Barcelona, one of Spain‘s most cosmopolitan destinations.

Desire Greek Islands Cruise
The seven-night itinerary will embark in Athens on September 17, 2022, making its first call in Santorini, the Gem of the Aegean Sea and one of the world’s most beautiful islands. Next, the cruise will make its way to Rhodes, a stunning display of sea, sand, and sights that blend medieval and modern attractions. Then, the voyage will continue to the port of Kusadasi, serving the city of Ephesus, once the second-largest metropolis in the Roman Empire; followed by Patmos, a small town with white buildings and colorful doorways and flowers. The last call will be in Mykonos, best known for its amazing beaches and thumping nightlife, which passengers will be able to experience since this is an overnight stay. Finally, guests will disembark back in Athens.

Desire Rio de Janeiro
The eight-night cruise will embark in Rio de Janeiro on December 30, 2022. Passengers will spend New Year’s Eve docked in Copacabana, arguably the most famous beach in the world. Here, guests will welcome 2023 with an unforgettable dinner, show, and exceptional performances onboard the cruise.  After a day at sea to recover from celebrating, the cruise will call on Punta del Este, Uruguay, one of the world’s most appealing seaside resorts, for an overnight call. Then, it will head to Montevideo, Uruguay’s picturesque capital, for another overnight stay. Finally, guests will disembark in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the trendiest cities in South America.
