EasyEntry 2.0 from Xing Events for mobile devices

Tried and tested admission management app gains new features.

MUNICH – Xing Events, the event industry’s leading expert in attendee management and event marketing, launched a new version of its EasyEntry mobile admission management system. The app’s new features will make admission via smartphone or tablet even smoother and more flexible than before.

Individual logins and on-site printing for a smooth admission process
EasyEntry 2.0 allows the creation of individual logins for admission staff. For this purpose, organisers can generate one or more logins in their personal administration area and print them in the form of a QR code. The printout has the format of a standard badge which staff members can always carry with them, allowing them to sign in quickly and easily at any time by scanning their badge with the app.

Badges, tickets, and invoices can from now on be printed directly from within the app, allowing staff members to respond flexibly to individual admission situations. The new app is intuitive and user-friendly so that delays during admission can be avoided. It is also suitable for all events irrespective of size and type.

Detailed statistics and advanced scanning options for greater flexibility
The new app allows organisers to view the current number of attendees at all times and arrange the admitted attendees by category. When using multiple devices, it is also possible to view the temporal and geographical distribution of the check-ins and outs. New options for fast scanning at exits and checking tickets without invalidating them enhance the app’s flexibility for a wide range of events.

“With EasyEntry 2.0 we are once again addressing the needs of our customers with new features that support them in managing a broad range of admission scenarios — both online and offline. The app’s simple operation permits event organisers to guarantee an even smoother and faster admission process for attendees. Following successful tests, the new version is available now for downloading on iOS and Android operating systems” said Maik Wiege, Senior Product Manager Xing Events.
