EICC brings world first to the meetings show

The world’s first multi purpose hall with integrated moving floor technology has made these events possible in set up times unattainable in conventional halls.

EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND – Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is just eight weeks into the opening of its new multi-purpose hall, the 2,000 square metre Lennox suite. Already 2,300 of the world’s leading dermatologists have studied a metric mile academic poster exhibition, a formal banquet for 1,700 people has been addressed by President Bill Clinton and a star in the form of new singing sensation Laura Mvula has entertained cabaret style to an audience of more than 750 events industry guests.

The world’s first multi purpose hall with integrated moving floor technology has made these events possible in set up times unattainable in conventional halls.

“We are particularly keen to talk to corporate event buyers at The Meeting Show” says EICC Head of Sales and Marketing, Louise Andrew.

“Events such as awards ceremonies, product launches and sales conferences work to tight deadlines and a totally flexible floor plan that can produce a tiered theatre, arena or banquet set up or flat floored exhibition space at the touch or button is exciting the market. Add to this the ability to match brand colour pallets in every part of the building and corporate business is a great fit”.

Recent corporate business booked at EICC includes household brand names Tesco, Sainsbury and Standard Life alongside product launches for major manufacturers, Eversholt Rail, carmaker Volvo and medical Device Technology company, Medtronic.

EICC is exhibiting on the VisitScotland Stand (J9) at Olympia and is represented by Ekaterina Alison and Marc Elvin from the sales team.
