To commemorate Israel’s 70th year of independence, EL AL is launching a special logo that will be imprinted on promotional material during the 70th anniversary year.
The logo’s design was inspired by the State of Israel’s logo for the 70th year celebrations, combining a Star of David, an aircraft, and the number 70, illustrating the link between EL AL and Israel on a joint journey spanning seven decades.
EL AL Vice President Commerce and Industry Affairs, Michael Strassburger said: “Since its founding, EL AL‘s operations have been entwined with the history of Israel and with events of national import. Throughout the decades, we have been partners with the State – carrying Israel’s first President, Chaim Weizmann, to the new country, bringing new immigrants; in times of prosperity, of excitement, joy and opening gateways to the rest of the world. Today we are proud to bear the flag of Israel on the tails of our aircraft. On the occasion of the festivities for Israel’s 70th year of independence, we are launching the special logo that will accompany us throughout the year.”
The logo was designed by McCann Tel Aviv.
