EmptyLegMarket launches new app to simplify private air travel

Using the app, customers can bid to charter an entire private jet by simply entering where they want to go to, the amount they are willing to pay, and their payment information.

LOS ANGELES – EmptyLegMarket LLC, an online clearinghouse for empty-leg flights, officially launches an iPhone app to name your price to charter a private jet. Drawing upon several years of experience filling excess capacity on private jets, EmptyLegMarket sees this as a real opportunity to simplify the chartering process and for customers to obtain significant savings when chartering a private jet.

Using the app, customers can bid to charter an entire private jet by simply entering where they want to go to, the amount they are willing to pay, and their payment information.

Then, within 24 hours of submitting a bid a customer will be notified if their bid was accepted by one of our partner jet operators.

EmptyLegMarket does not own or operate any aircraft and all partner jet operators are Wynn approved or ARG/US Platinum or Gold safety-rated.

“Nobody in the industry has an iPhone app allowing you to name your price to charter a private jet,” says Elliott Schwartz, Director of Operations for EmptyLegMarket.

In addition, the iPhone app also has a feature to allow a user to search for empty-legs and call the jet operator directly to book.

Easy to use, the App is intended to save time and money. The App is currently available for download in Apple’s iTunes store.
