Eurolot appoints Aviareps as General Sales Agent in the Netherlands

As part of the agreement, Aviareps will provide sales, marketing and ticketing activities for the airline including a Customer Contact Centre and Agency Help Desk Services.

MUNICH – Aviareps, the multinational aviation and tourism management expert, has been appointed by Eurolot, a Polish regional airline, as General Sales Agent (GSA) in the Netherlands with immediate effect. As part of the agreement, Aviareps will provide sales, marketing and ticketing activities for the airline including a Customer Contact Centre and Agency Help Desk Services.

Eurolot is one of the most dynamically developing airlines in Central Europe connecting people and places for over 15 years. The company was established in 1996 and since then has carried out flights for LOT Polish Airlines. On the 1st of July 2011, the airline launched its own air connections between the main regional airports in Poland as well as direct international flights. Currently Eurolot operates to Croatia, Switzerland, Germany, and from September 2013 also to Italy and France.

In June 2012 Eurolot introduced a new connection to Holland (Amsterdam Schiphol). Since then the Gdansk – Amsterdam (three times a week) and Krakow – Amsterdam (four times a week) routes have been operating successfully.

Both cities Krakow and Gdansk are well recognised as most attractive tourist destinations. Their popularity as well as good flights offer have been appreciated by business and tourist passengers from Holland.

In 2012 eight new Bombardier Q400 NextGen planes ordered by the carrier joined Eurolot’s fleet. Further six brand new aircrafts are expected by the end of 2013 making a total number of 14 planes. This is the most recent passenger aircraft offered by the Canadian manufacturer, offering a quiet cabin with noise suppression, comfortable seats, larger overhead bins for hand luggage and friendly lighting. “The Bombardier planes are fast, quiet and comfortable. This investment allows us to boast one of the most modern fleets in Europe,” ensures Mariusz Dabrowski, CEO of Eurolot SA.

Eurolot airlines are valued for innovative solutions. In July 2012 Eurolot equipped its aircrafts with iPads available to all passengers. It was the first Polish airline to introduce such solution, raising travel standards. Eurolot offers a full-service product, including free of charge luggage carriage, child and infant discounts and on-board catering in the ticket price.
