Europalco stages the Certified Accountant Congress 2022 for the 4th time

The Portuguese event global provider uses holograms and innovative techniques to make the Certified Accountants Annual Congress unforgettable.

LISBON – This year Congress of Certified Accountants at the Altice Arena in Lisbon was an overwhelming success. The 3-day event attracted more than 6,000 certified accountants from all around Portugal to learn about sustainability and non-financial reporting, corporate responsibility, social entrepreneurship, sustainable economy and accounting metrics and indices.

This event brought together 25 distinguished speakers who addressed the various aspects of sustainability in different panels over the three days, among them the Minister of Finance, the Secretary of State for Fiscal Affairs, the President of the Portuguese Association of Accountants, the President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC); and His Excellency, the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The global provider Europalco delivered a highly complex event seamlessly. A well-prepared onsite team of 72 experienced technicians had only three days to stage a theatrical event for its client, where the complexity of the project and technical design was the biggest challenge.

An impressive stage design is a great way to make a great impression, and Europalco, which has plenty of experience in such significant events and has organized this congress for the fourth time, knows this. To deliver a unique event, the company set up an astonishing 50m x 14m main screen at the Altice Arena and used 6 Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors.

To enhance the experience, create visual impact, and provide a more powerful message, they used the state-of-the-art show controller Movecat Motion Expert-T III, roll-down screens and a holographic screen to project customized digital content. To manage the display and handle multiple signals, the company used a Christie Spyder X80 processor to run the contents coming from Christie Pandoras Box media servers.

Europalco's global package of products and services for this event included audio and visual technologies, printing material, stages, furniture and decoration.

Large, printed banners branded the event from the moment guests arrived. From the reception to the main hall, the guests acceded through a bright white lycra tunnel designed that create an enveloping transitional environment. Once in the venue, they wore luminous wristbands, making an intimate moment with a play of lights during some entertainment live shows.

After a day of exciting speeches, workshops, and rich discussions, Europalco transformed the daytime event into a gala dinner with a different floor plan, lighting, furniture and decorations to bring new energy into the room.

There is nothing like a relaxing, quiet setting to make an event run smoothly, which is why the Portuguese company created an independent area with comfortable chairs and functional tables for guests to relax, connect or discuss important issues.

The whole place had a warm decoration, using square folding screens, some decorated with trees, and in others, you could see the sponsors' logos.

Pedro Magalhães, founder and CEO of Europalco, was very satisfied with the result: "We have a team with much experience in corporate events attended by thousands of people. These complex projects make us very excited when they go very well, and we get delighted clients as a result".

The Certified Accountant Congress 2022 turned into a successful event with a happy client who wants to work with Europalco again.
