Europcar opens Inverness Eastgate Central branch

Travellers benefit from new car hire location close to Inverness railway station.

LONDON – Extending its footprint across Scotland, Europcar, the leader in car hire services in Europe, has opened a new branch in Inverness Eastgate Shopping Centre located at Falcon Entrance. Now travellers arriving at Inverness train station will be able to continue their journey with ease, with Europcar offering the most convenient rental facility for anyone travelling from the city.

Inverness is known as the Gateway to the Scottish Highlands and now business and leisure travellers to the city can continue their journey in the comfort of a Europcar vehicle. Customers can explore the Highlands in style, in a Mercedes B Class, with room for extra luggage, making it ideal for a special occasion or an important business trip. Alternatively, the Fiat 500 offers the perfect city run around for the centre of Inverness. Or travellers can opt for the roomier Hyundai 130. Crucially, the new Europcar branch is just a short walk from Inverness railway station, making it the closest car hire location to the rail hub – ideal for busy travellers.

“This new branch reflects the commitment Europcar has to servicing business and leisure travellers in Scotland”, explained Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK Group. “We already have branches at Inverness Airport, Inverness Thistle Hotel and Wick Airport forming the Highland network and now we’re bringing the same quality service and convenience to rail passengers, as well as people picking up rental vehicles in the centre of the city.

“With free drop-off and collection, Europcar customers can step off the train at Inverness and get straight into their hire vehicle, ready to get on the road with the minimum of delays. Whether it’s business or leisure, Europcar’s got the vehicle for every traveller, now at more locations than ever before.”

Europcar adds Porsche to its prestige fleet
Europcar is also giving all Casanovas the chance to drive their partners wild for less this Valentine’s Day, with the addition of the new Porsche Cayman and Boxster S to its Prestige fleet. Luxury car hire is more affordable than ever with up to 30% off Prestige hire, booked before January 30th 2015, as part of the Europcar January Sale.

For the first time, Europcar customers can get to grips with one of the most desirable models around, as they enjoy the motoring passion and precision engineering of the two latest Porsche models. The Porsche Cayman offers curves to die for and boasts formidable performance on the road. The sultry Porsche Boxster S has grip, smoothness and unrivalled class. Taking a loved one for a city break or a cosy cruise through the country has never felt so alluring!

“Porsche is one of the hottest names in elite motoring and now our customers can nestle behind the wheel of one of these coveted cars this Valentine’s Day”, explained Ken McCall, Managing Director, Europcar UK Group. “If you’re out to impress that special someone, or fancy turning a few heads en route to a weekend of fun, the Porsche Cayman or Boxster S offer a new level of style and panache. And by hiring from Prestige from Europcar, they can be experienced without the sports car price tag.

“Europcar constantly updates its fleet to ensure we continue to bring our customers the widest choice of the most desirable and up-to-date models available. Business and leisure travellers can drive away in a slice of luxury with Prestige from Europcar.”
