Aegean Airlines expands fleet

Aegean Airlines<.> has expanded its fleet of aircraft by purchasing two Avro RJ 100 airplanes from British Aerospace. With these acquisitions Aegean intends to operate more flights, which at present are 84 flights daily to 11 destinations.

In its 13 months of operation Aegean Airlines has carried one million passengers to destinations within Greece, making it the largest private-owned air carrier in Greece, with its own privately-owned aircraft.
