Aegean Airlines inaugurates three new destinations

From October 1, the new Greek regional carrier Aegean<.> Airlines opens three new domestic routes: Alexandropouli, Kavala and Corfu. The routes will be executed by a new Avro RJ 100 that will be accepted by the airline on September 21. Another, the fourth in the fleet, is expected on December 12.
The airline, in less than three months since it began scheduled domestic flights, has carried 100,000 passengers from Athens to its destinations Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Chania.
Aegean Airlines accepted delivery of its first two new 100-seat four-engine Avro passenger jets in May and began flights in June. The two jets come with all-leather seats and a business-class configuration so as to provide total up-market service on Greece`s domestic routes.
Present schedules include daily flights to Thessaloniki, three daily flights to Heraklion, two daily flights to Rhodes and one daily flight to Chania. The company executes 168 weekly departures….
