airBaltic starts the first of this summer new routes: Riga – Gdansk

Latvian national airline airBaltic started the first of this summer’s new routes from Riga to Gdansk, Poland. The new route of airBaltic will offer excellent transit connections via North Hub Riga to destinations in Scandinavia, Russia, the CIS and the Middle East.

Starting from April 18, airBaltic flies from Riga to Gdansk four times a week – Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Passengers will board a Fokker 50 aircraft for a flight that will last for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

airBaltic will offer four new routes this summer linking North Hub Riga with Gdansk, Bari and Budapest, as well as a link between Finland’s Oulu and Norway’s Tromso. A number of seasonal destinations are returning to the route map as summer draws closer; they include Nice, Tromso, Belgrade, Madrid, Baku, Dushanbe, Visby, Yerevan, Simferopol, Odessa.
