Kuoni Travel Holding Ltd. has appointed a new Head of Corporate Communications, Andrea Hemmi. The 36-year-old succeeds Stephan Wehrle, who will leave Kuoni at the end of October after a 15-month tenure.
Andrea Hemmi can draw on many years of experience in corporate communications. She comes to Kuoni from McDonald`s Switzerland, where she has served as communications director for the past one-and-a-half years. Her prior positions include some three years as a media spokeswoman for the TV3 private television channel and a spell as a consultant with the Trimedia communications agency. She began her professional career as personal assistant to a Canton Aargau government councillor. Andrea Hemmi will assume her new duties with Kuoni in mid-November.
Stephan Wehrle will be leaving the company at the end of October at his own request and by amicable agreement, to pursue his career in a new and different direction.
