British Airways<.> is planning a joint venture with Finnair and therefore announced that it has in this framework applied to the European Commission for antitrust immunity. According to an article published in the Financial Times last week, the British airline company has also started talks with Brussels about deepening its alliance with Iberia, the Spanish flag carrier.
BA and Finnair are still finalizing which routes will fall within the joint venture, the same report added, however, both companies have excluded direct flights between the United Kingdom and Finland.
