British group Bass to open hotel in Thessaloniki

Operators of Inter-continental, Crown Plaza and Holiday Inn, London-based Bass<.> Plc said last week that it is going to open its 500th hotel in Europe in the northern city of Thessaloniki. The British Company already owns over 3,000 hotels worldwide as well as some 2,000 large managed British pubs and restaurants. Further details about the construction and location of the new hotel was not disclosed to the press.
