Collaboration between Windstar Cruises and Greek company

Windstar<.> Cruises, following its launch into Greek waters this past summer, has appointed Amphitrion Air Services as its general sales agent (GSA<.>) for Greece. Windstar has introduced cruises to the islands aboard its vessel Wind Spirit, which departs every second Saturday from Piraeus and arrives in Istanbul a week later before returning to Greece. It calls in at Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes, Bodrum (Alikarnassos), Kusadasi (Ephesus) and Istanbul. Next year will see the cruiseship Wind Song undertaking Aegean itineraries in the summer and sailing the Caribbean in winter. It caters to 148 passengers and offers comfortable double cabins.
The Wind Spirit hosted travel agents, journalists and other guests while docked at Piraeus recently, where Amphitrion Air Services president Mr Mitsiou noted that passengers revel in the experience of sailing. The atmosphere is not at all impersonal, so passengers feel completely at ease, he said. So in answer to the question Should we take a cruise or go yachting?, Amphitrion Air Services now says Why not both?.
